Unbeaten WBO world junior welterweight champion Terence Crawford, 28-0 (20), scored a fifth round TKO over Hank Lundy, 26-6-1 (13), on Saturday night in the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Lundy had a good round one but Crawford got his timing and distance down and started to take over. He dropped Lundy in round five and the follow-up assault forced referee Steve Willis to step in at 2:09 of the round. A classy and respectful Crawford congratulated Lundy after the bout for his effort, furthering the fact that he’s a star in the making.

Someones “0” was gonna go! In a battle of unbeaten lightweight contenders, Felix “Diamante” Verdejo, 20-0 (14), scored an impressive 10-round unanimous decision over William “Baby Face” Silva, 23-1 (14). Silva was game and came to fight but Verdejo was in control all the way. Final scores were 100-90 twice and 99-91.
